Lewis
Lewis Hamilton was in fine form during 2007 - managing to finish in second place (by one point) in the driver's championship, in just his first season. This race, however, was not his. He spun off on lap 30 and retired.

The Chinese Grand Prix affords excellent viewing from the enormous grand stand. Allowing nice clean shots over top of the fence, like this one. On the down side, the track lacks the ambience that Melbourne has.

Eternal Joy

Originally built during the old Tang dynasty (618-907), the Xian City Wall was extended by Zhu Yuanzhang, first Emperor of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), thus creating the modern Xian City Wall. It's the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. The wall stands at 12 meters tall, 14 meters wide at the top and 18 meters wide at the bottom. Covering 13.7 km, the wall's 4 sides each have their own complicated gate structure designed to withstand enemy attack. Pictured is the entrance to the east gate (Changle meaning eternal joy).

St Paul's Cathedral
The first service, at St Paul's Cathedral, took place in 1697. Since then, St Paul’s now world-famous Dome, has become an iconic feature of the London skyline, but there is so much more to Sir Christopher Wren’s masterpiece than its impressive facade. The interior, with it’s glittering mosaics, intricate stone carving, and breathtaking vantage points, are just a few of the reasons why a visit to St Paul’s is a must.
A Cathedral dedicated to St Paul has overlooked the City of London since 604AD. The current Cathedral – the fourth to occupy this site – was designed by the court architect Sir Christopher Wren and built between 1675 and 1710 after its predecessor was destroyed in the Great Fire of London.
Steve and Jeremy of **[Rumble Motorsports](http://www.rumblemotorsport.com/ "Rumble Motorsport")** have upgraded from their Lexus V8 powered VC Commodore, featured **[earlier](http://www.angstrom.com.au/?showimage=32 "Night Racing)** on angstrom, to a full 4130 tube frame race car based on a Holden Rodeo wheelbase running a Supercharged (Sprintex) 3.2L Holden Isuzu all-alloy block.

This new car flies - literally. Seen here, in mid-flight, its competing at the Brookton King Of The Hill 260 (long course) event.
Getting up close and personal with a pelican is possible with a 300mm f/4 L. I really should use this lens more often - it takes great photos.
My mates Steve and Jez of [Rumble Motorsport](http://www.rumblemotorsport.com/ "Rumble Motorsport") (RMS) race an offroad race car in the Australian Offroad Racing Championship (AORC) and Western Australian Offroad Championship (WAORC). This is their 200kW Lexus 4.0L v8 quad-cam powered VC Commodore in a night race down near Harvey. The VC is their second race car and have since progressed onto a Full 4130 tube frame race car based on a Holden Rodeo wheelbase running a Supercharged (Sprintex) 3.2L Holden Isuzu all-alloy block.
